Is MyCodeTree.com PCI compliant?
Nov. 16, 2011 by Ryan Huff
MyCodeTree.com itself, as a website, does not process or store PAN (primary account numbers) data. MyCodeTree.com uses third party services that are PCI compliant for transaction processing.

However, there is the potential that our customers may store PAN data with our service (in the form of a website backup). In this regard, the servers that a customer's data maybe stored on are, in fact, PCI compliant. Depending on the service level, a customer's data may be stored on Amazon S3 servers or on HostGator Servers.

When a customer transmits backup data from their website to MyCodeTree.com's service, it is done using either a FTPS or FTPES connection between MyCodeTree.com and the customer's web server.

All backup data that the customer stores with the MyCodeTree.com service is accessible to the customer, from the customer's MyCodeTree.com account, through SSL (https://) exclusively.
